Anne was excited about the message of The Alpha Show of King Arthur and it’s themes of Oneness and over-attachment to the ego, as well as the quality of the production itself (even though you can’t really hear her because of the noisy staff room!). You can at least hear Ben babble on in his own style about what his intentions were for the show, its message and the source of it all.
Nexus Arts – Alpha Shows
We have had a wonderful company, Nexus Arts, work with us since 2005 to help bring our shows to schools we’ve never been to before, or schools who just refuse to book through anybody else other than Nexus. Sue Russell is a very passionate woman who runs the company, as well as Robyn who does a lot of bookings in other states. We love our relationship with them, as they’re committed to only having awesome quality stuff sent to schools. They have a lot of performers on their books, all great, and the best way I’ve seen people interact with them is to have 4 shows (1 per term) at their school, Alpha always being one of them to keep the full productions from us there annually… It’s important to have us once a year so that the shows messages ’stack’ and integrate for the 7 years of primary school, or the few years of high school that we might see some of the older year levels.
If you have a current relationship with Alpha, please continue to book directly with us as whilst we love Nexus we run out of money very quickly and can’t afford to pay Nexus their commission for EVERY school we visit!! 
But if on the other hand, you are someone who always books through Nexus and loves Sue and Robyn, then by all means liaise through them and arrange Alpha that way. It is nice and easy that way if you’re already dealing with them.
This post is just to give a shout out to our great agent, Nexus, and for all their great work they do for the industry.

Alpha Shows Introduction Trailer Movie
As we now have launched the iTunes Podcast of all the Alpha Shows videos we are posting on here, this means that all iTunes users who love Podcasts can find Alpha and subscribe to our feed!!! That’s very exciting. We hope everyone out there enjoys seeing what it’s like on tour, and gets to learn a little bit about Australia’s most intense, entertaining and life changing children’s theatre.
So that you can get a better idea, we thought we should put up our main Alpha Shows Trailer, so you can experience what the events we put on are all about. So here it is.
Light show before a show
After we set up in Whyalla, we had some spare time. Usually we test the setup, the lights, fog and whatever else. We had a nice blackout in this venue so we could see our brand new moving light effects really well. We thought you’d like to see some of it too.

Fly Away – new finale song creation
Very soon, Alpha Shows will have a new finale song. Here’s a video of the day we started creating the song, whilst in Naracoorte in SA. Finally – a custom made song with custom lyrics tailor made to our shows and our message!!! Let us know what you think.
