Feel all your feelings fully

Ben talks after The Alpha Show of Aladdin about the true message of the show, and the reason why Aladdin in our show really was able to make his own wishes – once he had dealt with his causal emotion of unworthiness (ie. being a ‘worthless street rat’) and experienced this emotion fully. This then lends itself to naturally allowing children and our audiences to connect in with their own feelings and be open to letting them go by feeling them, so that what you can wish for and attract into your life can change for the better!

Genie Celebration

How to get an audience celebrating Genie style! This was Scott Jackson as the Genie with an audience that is generally not that easy to get to celebrate with you, as in theatres (opposed to schools where we normally perform and everyone goes crazy) you get a lot of parents and younger children. But they actually rocked and had some good energy for a holiday theatre audience.

The purpose of getting an audience to celebrate like this is to lock in the emotional message that has just been delivered and offered to the audience to experience. When you finish off with a big celebration, using your physical body, your voice, in a way that makes you feel energised and pumped up, the memory will last forever and you’ll lock in those feelings so you can use them whenever you want. It’s just smart!

Eagle!

Mark Kenny doing what is known as an Eagle. And when it’s a small one in a small venue, it’s a meagle. A mini-eagle! And just for the record, a sea-gul is a super eagle! I think this one might qualify as a sea-gul.

Question Time Combo

Ben & other cast speak after the shows about the messages & the ways the shows can be used to positively impact your life. Also gives a great summary of what our Question Time is like after each show. It’s often a mini-seminar, but with a really really receptive audience because they’ve just had an awesome time for 90 minutes which puts them in the perfect state for remembering the ideas and enable the event to be something that stays with them for a long time.

Staff room @ St Aloysius

Anne was excited about the message of The Alpha Show of King Arthur and it’s themes of Oneness and over-attachment to the ego, as well as the quality of the production itself (even though you can’t really hear her because of the noisy staff room!). You can at least hear Ben babble on in his own style about what his intentions were for the show, its message and the source of it all.

Nexus Arts – Alpha Shows

We have had a wonderful company, Nexus Arts, work with us since 2005 to help bring our shows to schools we’ve never been to before, or schools who just refuse to book through anybody else other than Nexus. Sue Russell is a very passionate woman who runs the company, as well as Robyn who does a lot of bookings in other states. We love our relationship with them, as they’re committed to only having awesome quality stuff sent to schools. They have a lot of performers on their books, all great, and the best way I’ve seen people interact with them is to have 4 shows (1 per term) at their school, Alpha always being one of them to keep the full productions from us there annually… It’s important to have us once a year so that the shows messages ’stack’ and integrate for the 7 years of primary school, or the few years of high school that we might see some of the older year levels.

If you have a current relationship with Alpha, please continue to book directly with us as whilst we love Nexus we run out of money very quickly and can’t afford to pay Nexus their commission for EVERY school we visit!! :) But if on the other hand, you are someone who always books through Nexus and loves Sue and Robyn, then by all means liaise through them and arrange Alpha that way. It is nice and easy that way if you’re already dealing with them.

This post is just to give a shout out to our great agent, Nexus, and for all their great work they do for the industry.

Here is a link to their website and our page on there:
